The Osnabrück site of Mull und Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH was awarded the contract for the sub-measure "Construction section oil siphon" for the preliminary exploration of the chemical composition of the soil with regard to potential acidification due to the influence of geogenic sulphate deposits in the actual state.

M&P Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH was commissioned by DB Netz AG to carry out small pile-driving drillings and the subsequent evaluation of the extracted soil material as a result of a laboratory analysis. The commissioned analysis is intended to record and document the chemical composition of the soil at the time of the investigation. The sub-measure "Oil switch construction section" concerns the construction of an overtaking track on the railway line 1552 for overtaking operations in the PFA 6 ABS Oldenburg - Wilhelmshaven, more precisely in the area of line kilometre 9.532 - km 10.526.

Under the direction of our colleague Moritz Lenz, the planning and implementation of the field work as well as the evaluation of the research results obtained will take place in spring 2021.
