In 2018, an exploratory investigation of the Wustrow Z3 drilling mud pit near Bösel in Lüchow (Wendland) was carried out as part of a historical exploration and exploratory investigation with sampling and hazard assessment. The work was carried out in accordance with the guidelines of GEOFAKTEN 29, Phase II, to confirm or eliminate the suspected hazard. This investigation followed a preceding Phase I, which dealt with the historical investigation.
