In the immediate vicinity of Düsseldorf's Am Wehrhahn S-Bahn station in the city centre, a total of 450 flats with 220 underground parking spaces are currently being built on an area of approx. 18,350 m². Back in 2018, Mull und Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft drew up a pollutant register and a demolition and disposal concept for the former buildings on the Worringer Straße / Gerresheimer Straße site. Based on this concept and the subsequent invitation to tender, the former buildings were demolished in the same year.

This was followed by the preparation of the invitation to tender for the construction of the excavation pit and the expert support during the execution phase. To ensure proper recycling and disposal, the employees of the Düsseldorf branch worked closely with the client, VIVAWEST, and the responsible authorities to develop a concept for sampling the excavated material and coordinated the necessary excavation and the professional installation of the supplied material with the specialist company carrying out the work.

The excavation pit was completed in summer 2020. Building construction is currently progressing rapidly. Even after the construction pit has been completed, Mull und Partner Ingenieursgesellschaft will of course be available to the client for any questions that arise during the further course of construction.
