You know how it is in a big city with short appointments. A quick trip to the building site to take samples or to the environmental agency to look at reports and then you're stuck in a traffic jam after work or spend 20 minutes looking for a parking space.
At the Hanover site, this has long been a thing of the past, as a total of three company bikes are available for such endeavours.
Two of these bikes are also classic "baker's bikes" that can be used to easily transport sampling equipment, samples taken or even 1.5 metres of shelving.
The employees at the Hanover site enjoy using the bikes in a variety of ways, even if they are sometimes looked at unfavourably on the construction site. However, when you cycle past the site manager standing in the traffic jam, this attitude changes very quickly.
The bikes are also very popular with colleagues for special assignments such as deadline measurements in the middle of the city centre or metrological monitoring of construction sites in the cramped residential areas of List, Linden or Südstadt.
In any case, Mull und Partner in Hanover is planning to further expand its bicycle fleet in the future.
Whether for construction meetings, appointments with the authorities or sampling, the bikes have saved a lot of short inner-city journeys with the company car over the last two years, thus making a small contribution to climate protection.
