DE M&P Heidelberg: Groundwater remediation in Walldorf: Reduction of pollutant concentration by approx. 99 %
Engineering for a better tomorrow: An LCKW pollution plume has been known in Walldorf since the end of the 1990s. Highly volatile chlorinated hydrocarbons jeopardised drinking water extraction north of the town. To prevent this, a major groundwater remediation project has been running for 20 years.
